This camp site is tucked away from the main road at the end of a lane next to a working farm. Great location if you want to visit Poole being approx half hour away Corfe Castle just down the road and Swanage another 6 mile further on
The sites shower and toilet block are clean (as is the rest of the camping park) and tidy but just a little out dated. Washing up and laundry facilities also available near the shower block along with the chemical toilet disposal point, drinking water is from taps around the siteAs you enter the site the reception is on your right hand side and there is also a small camp site shop which is open in the morning and late afternoon, where you can order morning papers.For further information on this campsite visit their web sitehttp://www.ridgefarm.co.uk/index.htm
Verdict. Would we stay at this site again? I think we would. It’s not the best we have stayed at but it’s not the worse. Everything was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. We paid £19 per night for 2 adults, car, caravan with hookup which is ok ish maybe a tad expensive, but if we had a awning and had to pay a extra £2.50 that I would consider that over priced. I justify saying that by comparing the facilities that are offered and the amount charged at other camp sites we have stayed at. We rate this site ***Date reviewed 21/06/2010
